Amazon Exploring Expedition is a tour company offering multiday expeditions departing from Iquitos to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest protected area of flooded forest in the Amazon Rainforest, away from the traditional tourist corridors.

You will be accommodated in our lodge Eretzen Ta in all of our programs.

Our aim is to give you a memorable holiday providing you with the most authentic travel experience with the opportunity to appreciate the natural wonders of the jungle, the wildlife, and those who call the rainforest home.

We are a registered company to operate in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.

Overnight camping in the jungle, walking on canopy suspended bridges, canoeing, swimming with pink dolphins, hiking, fishing, wildlife observation and visits to nearby villages will fill your days in the Amazon.

We can arrange the programs according to your needs and interests and provide you with a customized service.

LOCATION

ERETZEN TA LODGE

Our lodge is located near the community of San Regis, in the Marañon River, 141 km away from Iquitos “Francisco Secada Vigneta” International Airport, in the proximity of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest protected area of flooded forest in the Amazon Rainforest.

Because of its proximity, our lodge offers a wonderful opportunity to visit the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve where you can experience the tranquil surroundings of this natural beauty and discover the diverse and unique flora and fauna that grow abundantly in this place.

Our facilities are surrounded by abundant vegetation and aquatic life which offer spectacular images. Here you can go canoeing, take a traditional fishing trip or simply wander through the water streams. You can also visit the village and mix with the welcoming community.

With large windows overlooking the jungle, rooms at our lodge are very bright. All of them have mosquito nets, private bathrooms with toilet, lavatory, and shower with water 24 hours a day. Our comfortable beds are equipped with their own mosquito nets for a pleasant sleep.

We can arrange your needs if you are a vegan or vegetarian.

We have a solar system to provide electricity to our lodge. Electricity to charge batteries and cameras is running 24 hours a day. Internet access is provided for free.

If you don’t want to take our all-inclusive tours for any reason, you can stay at our lodge and do some activities on-site at any time of the year:

  • Jungle hikes.
  • Canoeing.
  • Fishing.
  • Flora observation. Learn the traditional use of medicinal plants.
  • Visits to San Regis to learn about the life of people of the Amazon.
